Hon. Abubakar Aseer Hyongo Congratulates Gov. Alia, Other APC Primary Winners

Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has been commended for his leadership and commitment to internal democracy following the successful conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Benue State. In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Hon. Alhaji Abubakar Aseer Hyongo, Point Man of Vandeikya Local Government Area, congratulated Governor Alia and all candidates who emerged victorious in the recently concluded APC primaries across the state. Hon. Hyongo described the peaceful and orderly conduct of the primaries as a reflection of the unity, discipline, and inclusiveness fostered within the party under the governor’s leadership. According to him, Governor Alia’s steady leadership has created an atmosphere where party members are free to participate in democratic processes and express their choices without intimidation. He also congratulated candidates who secured tickets for the House of Representatives, State House of Assembly, and other elective positions, noting that their emergence was a testament to the confidence reposed in them by party delegates and faithful. The APC chieftain urged the victorious candidates to see their success as a call to greater responsibility, humility, and dedication in service to the people of Benue State. Hon. Hyongo further commended aspirants who did not emerge victorious for demonstrating sportsmanship and maturity throughout the exercise, stressing that the APC remains one united family working toward the progress of Benue State and victory in the 2027 general elections. He called on party members to close ranks, reconcile differences, and work together to strengthen the APC under the leadership of Governor Alia in order to consolidate the gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda in the state. He concluded by praying for wisdom, strength, and grace for all party leaders and candidates as they prepare for the tasks ahead.
